  • www.barnesandnoble.com – Both general reading suggestions, as well as those specifically geared toward book clubs
  • www.beautyandthebook.com – Founder, Kathy Patrick has a knack for choosing great books and discovering up-and-coming authors
  • www.bookbrowse.com – to quote site-owner, Davina, “Unlike so many others, we don't blindly follow the bestseller lists and the big-budget titles. At BookBrowse you'll find a range of interesting, thought provoking titles chosen on quality, and not on the size of their marketing budgets” I’ve discovered some great finds following her advice!
  • www.bookreporter.com Anchor site for one of the most informative—and entertaining—book networks, The Book Report Network; they have introduced me to some wonderful book selections over the years!
  • www.indiebound.org Love their Top 10 Reading Group Suggestions—every book they list is either on my nightstand, or I’ve already read—there are no dogs on this list!
  • www.literarymatters.net Esther Bushell is one of the country’s busiest professional book club facilitators—with over 20 clubs depending on her advice. Now that her website is up, we can all benefit from her recommendations! (Don’t you just love technology?)
  • www.randomhouse.com Main site for imprints including Crown, Doubleday, Three Rivers, Knopf, and others in the Random House family. It’s interesting to read which books they think book groups will love.
