Hi Marsha, Thanks for sharing this site...very creative and informative! There are so many well written and enjoyable books out there for readers and book clubs to choose from. Reading is so important for all ages and it is wonderful there are people all over the world who are dedicated to organizing book club gatherings, events and even websites! As a rejuvenating school principal turned book publisher, I am proud to announce the first published novel, The Lincoln Secret, a well written, fabulous mystery adventure by John McKinsey (yes, my husband's book - the first of many that I will be publishing this year) weaves documented information about Abraham Lincoln, geneaology and the Civil War. Those who have read The Lincoln Secret are giving it rave reviews! So check out to get more information. John is a great speaker and will be honored to talk about The Lincoln Secret at book club gatherings across the country. What's even more exciting, Martin Pearl Publishing is donating a substantial portion of the profit on all books sold go to the expansion of our local library in Dixon, CA! Personally, we would love to save the Carnegie building, but the library needs millions of dollars to retrofit the building. I believe we can save the Carnegie building and expand the existing site. So, check out The Lincoln Secret, give it a read and pass the word on! 1 million books sold=$2.4 million goes to The New Dixon, CA Library project!

Hi Marsha! Thanks for profiling Chicks With Books in your "Celebrating Clubs" area of your site. You are a delight and an inspiration and we "Chicks" look forward to some joint book club bonding in the future! Dawn Yuba City, CA

Marsha generously refers to me as her "partner in crime" but let me assure you, she is the heart and soul of Readers in the Hood. (She does occasionally let me "edit" her work--you know, those who can DO, those who can't TEACH!) Absolutely fabulous job on your website, dear friend! KK
