Hello Marsha, Not sure where I found your website but I'm glad I did! Just wanted to tell you about my North Carolina book club, The Wesley Chapel G.R.I.T.S. (Girls Reading In The South). We read "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" in July. Before hand we all entered the contest in the back of the book sponsored by Random House. And in August WE WON !! We were the lucky book club of the "Take Your Book Club to Guernsey" contest! Out of 57,000 entries, one of our members had the winning entry. We made the trip in October and it was the most amazing trip. We got to meet the winning book club from the U.K., had two book discussions and got a wonderful tour of the island. It was so beautiful; just what you had imagined it was like while you were reading the book. You can check out our great adventure on Just scroll down to the November 4th entry "News Story About Our Guernsey Trip" and click on the link. I'm the blond in the middle at the end grinning like the Cheshire Cat!

I am involved in the Chamber of Commerce Women's Division and their are a few of us in this group that have decided to start a book club. I was looking up a book that I am reading and it led me to your site. WOW, this will really help us while we are developing our Book Club. Such great thoughts, and help and recommendations on what to read and how to conduct your book club. Thank you and I will keep your web site on my favorites....Pam

What a clever idea - I met Marsha at the Author's Luncheon in Sacramento - I'm part of the Cherchez la Femme Book Club. One of our returning ideas is the Academy Awards for the best book for the past year - red carpet and all!

What an awesome name (and idea!) for a website. I love the old pix you used as your header. This is just a great idea! I belong to a couple clubs and I'd love to be included in your 'tips'! Blessings, Jeannie
